“No Helmet, No Entry” – College Principal Issues Strict Directive, Students Agree

Jagdalpur. Under the National Road Safety 2025 campaign, a special awareness program was organized today at Danteshwari Pharmacy College, Borpadar, as part of the ongoing traffic awareness drive across the Bastar district. Under the guidance of Bastar Superintendent of Police Shalabh Sinha and the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Maheshwar Nag, around 100 students, teachers, and staff members received important information related to road safety.

During the program, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Santosh Jain, Traffic In-charge Madhusudan Nag, and Prakash Dewangan explained in detail the traffic rules, major causes of road accidents, preventive measures, and the Good Samaritan Law. Citing previous accident incidents in the Bastar region, officers motivated students to become responsible citizens.

The college principal made a clear announcement that no student would be allowed to enter the college premises on a two-wheeler without a helmet. All students unanimously agreed to this directive and pledged to make road safety their priority.

Students and teachers listened attentively and took an oath to follow traffic rules in the future. This awareness campaign in Bastar is proving to be an important step toward reducing road accidents.

Teachers, staff members, and the traffic police team were present during the program.
