Shafali scored 87 off 78 balls, while Deepti contributed a run-a-ball 58, helping India post 298 for 7 in 50 overs after being invited to bat first. In the chase, the Proteas were bundled out for 246 despite Laura Wolvaardt’s fighting century. Deepti registered a five-wicket haul (5 for 39), while Shafali chipped in with two wickets for 36 runs.
