Shri Sai seeks space for Chhattisgarh Pavilion at Maha Kumbh, Welcomes Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s invitation

Raipur. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has extended a special invitation to Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai to participate in the Maha Kumbh Mela, scheduled to take place at the holy city of Prayagraj in the upcoming year 2025. Along with the invitation, Shri Adityanath has also invited all the people of Chhattisgarh to join the grand religious gathering.

To formally deliver the invitation, Uttar Pradesh’s IT and Electronics Minister Shri Sunil Kumar Sharma and Social Welfare Minister Shri Sanjeev Gond met with Chief Minister Shri Sai. They presented an official invitation card, holy Ganga water, and a symbolic memento of the Kumbh to Chief Minister, urging him to attend the mega event.

Besides, Minister Shri Sunil Kumar Sharma requested that a dedicated pavilion from Chhattisgarh be set up at the Kumbh Mela site, to which Chief Minister agreed. He subsequently submitted a letter to the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister requesting land to be allocated for the Chhattisgarh pavilion, where arrangements for accommodation and meals for pilgrims from Chhattisgarh could be made.

Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards Chief Minister Shri Adityanath for the invitation, highlighting the significance of this particular Kumbh. He stated, “It is an honor to be invited to the Maha Kumbh, and I have attended previous Kumbh Melas, but this year’s gathering holds a special place in our hearts.” He also noted the gesture of sending two ministers to personally extend the invitation, which he deeply appreciated.

In his message, Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that Chhattisgarh is eager to showcase its culture, development, and achievements to the pilgrims from across the world attending the Kumbh. He assured that Chhattisgarh will not only participate in the spiritual event but also work towards making the stay and experience of its pilgrims comfortable and memorable
